Comic Sans

The film “Comic Sans” (2018) Comic Sans is one of the most popular fonts in unofficial e-mail communication, also known to non-designers, and “Comic Sans” directed by Nevio Marasović is certainly one of the most popular Croatian films in recent years. After its triumph at the Pula Film Festival in 2018 (five Golden Arenas, including direction, leading male & supporting female roles plus the people’s choice award, which filmmakers always hold especially dear) and winning the Film Critics Jury Award for the best regional film at the Belgrade FEST, it participated in about twenty other film festivals around the world, and brought home several awards for best film and best male role. Be sure to watch this special film story about a successful designer who has a breakdown thanks to his cheating girlfriend and decides to escape to an island where his family is originally from. The magical island is Vis and we were there, as well as in Zagreb, where the rest of the film was made. The opportunity to participate in this great project by providing props and assembling sets was provided to us by Kinorama. We dearly remember that Easter on Vis with the great production team, as well as those couple of scenes that were filmed on the extraordinary island of Palagruža 😊.
