‘Na granici’ (‘The Border’)

‘Na granici’ (‘The Border’) TV series (2018 – 2019)

We worked on several big TV series for Nova TV (‘Larin izbor’ (‘Lara’s Choice’), “Kud puklo da puklo” (‘Whichever Way the Ball Bounces’), ‘Drugo ime ljubavi’ (‘Another Name For Love’)), bot in a way, we keep ‘Na Granici’ in fond memory. Supervized by set designer Branimira Katić, our prop masters (two teams, for studio at Velesajam and locations) did a heroic job.
Lika, Herzegovina, the border… Tobacco smuggling, along with who knows what else… The entire series plot revolves around that smuggling, and the smuggler bags and boxes were filled by our prop masters (also taking care of other hero props), while the ‘smuggled’ goods were acquired by our prop buyers 😊! The guys were also in charge of redressing – quickly changing a room on a set into another, and our prop stock contributed with the entire fire extinguishing equipment for VFD Lokvica, as well as the border pass ramp! The store in Herzegovina was designed exclusively by our graphic designer – all the articles were her handicraft. Another proof we were hard at work is that our delivery van was not spared after delivering the props, it also played the part of – a smuggler’s van 😊.
